It will be held on July 12th and will be an annual, itinerant event. For its very first edition, the Villa of G\u00fc\u00edmar has been chosen as the venue for this new race.<\/p>\n<p>The idea was first posed by <strong>RACT President<\/strong> <strong>Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez Calzadilla<\/strong> during a Club lunch meeting in February, where it was initially proposed as a &#8220;Spring Classic.&#8221; However, to encourage greater participation, the event was finally set in July and given the final name of <strong>Cl\u00e1sica de Verano \u2013 &#8220;Trofeo Ciudad de G\u00fc\u00edmar&#8221;<\/strong> (Summer Classic \u2013 &#8220;Villa of G\u00fc\u00edmar Trophy&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The rally will maintain the spirit of the former Cl\u00e1sica Aguere, with an accessible and friendly format: technical checks on Friday afternoon and the rally on Saturday morning. The starting point will be Plaza de San Pedro, with a mid-way stop at El Puertito and the finish at Finca Salamanca, where lunch and the awards ceremony will take place.<\/p>\n<p>According to <strong>Leopoldo Mansito<\/strong>, the <strong>RACT<\/strong> race director, the road-book will be simple and will evoke historical stages of motorsport in the G\u00fc\u00edmar Valley, an area with a rich tradition and passion for motorsports.<\/p>\n<p>With this new event, <strong>RACT<\/strong> aims to continue the legacy of the Cl\u00e1sica Aguere, improving organizational aspects and adapting to new locations on the island, to the delight of drivers, navigators, and spectators.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El <b>RACT<\/b> lanza una nueva cita en el calendario del <b>motor cl\u00e1sico<\/b>: la <b>Cl\u00e1sica de Verano<\/b>.
